Why Pakistanis are behind in science and technology?

We are hardworking nation and everyone works with lot of passion in their field. But why we are lagging behind in science and technology? Well this is a valid question. If we will ask our youth the same question, majority will answer that due to injustice and lack of opportunities. Somehow their answer is valid that due to injustice all hardworking becomes null and void. Someone works and other one enjoys the benefits.

But let we discuss this on big canvas. Our educational budget is too low, incompetent people are in education ministry and the most important is education is not the priority of any political party. We are used to listen slogans like Roti-Kapra-Makan as basic necessity but never heard such slogan for education. Although, education can bring all these Roti-Kapra-Makan along with dignity and respect.
